Sessions – Post-Production

Day 1 Sessions

3D Typography
Speaker: Eran Stern
We live in a three-dimensional world, so it is only logical that we create in 3D. Especially when the tools are simpler and more accessible than ever. In this session we will learn how to combine video, text and 3D titles in After Effects. We will rely on the built-in tools along with industry standard plugins. By the end of this class you will be able to create impressive 3D Typography, even if you have zero knowledge in this area.
After Effects Masks: What Can They Do for Me?
Speaker: Luisa Winters
In After Effects, you can use masks for a bit more than only hiding a part of your photo or video. In this session, Luisa will use masks for hiding, tracking, content-aware, and for keyframes. After Effects sees the information on masks and vertex points very similarly than it sees information on position keyframes, so one can use the information on one to create the other. From using masks to create position keyframes, to using position keyframes to create masks, after this session, you’ll have a much deeper understanding on how to use the power of masks in your work.
  • What exactly is a mask?
  • Mask Properties
  • Mask Modes
  • Animating a mask
  • Using a mask for position Keyframing
  • Using Masks from Illustrator
  • Incorporating masks into your work
